Ordering a Custom Piece

As of November 2023, all Custom Orders are Closed.

When custom orders are opened back up, a deposit of half down is required when the order is made. This deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance must be paid for when the order is complete and before it ships. Custom orders CAN AND WILL NOT be returned or refunded. (Please see Custom Items under the Return, Refund, and Exchange Policy)

You will have several chances to make changes and verify all sizes are correct before the order is complete. If the order comes in damaged, please refer to Damaged Items under Return, Refund, and Exchange Policy.

Custom turnaround on items is usually no less than 8 weeks due to the fact that I am a one-person shop with a family and a town job during 8-5.

Shipping and Order Status

All orders unless previously discussed are shipped at a flat rate amount and normal shipping tie after leaving my hands on average is 2-3 days. If you need it faster you are more than welcome to message me and we can arrange overnight shipping for an additional cost.

All orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. I am a one-person shop with a family and a town job during regular working hours so I do try to get orders out as soon as possible but sometimes it can take the full 5 days.

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us that will include your tracking number that you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for tracking information to be updated.

If you haven’t received your order within 5 days of receiving your confirmation email, please contact me at mendellleather@yahoo.com with your name and order number and Ill look into it for you!

 

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Custom Items

Under no circumstances are custom orders eligible for return or refund unless it is a mistake on my part as the maker. If this is the case, please contact me on any social media page or by emailing me at mendellleather@yahoo.com All items are made to the customers specifications, and I am not responsible for incorrect measurements given at time of order.

Ready to Ship Items

You have 7 days to return any product you have ordered. After 7 days have passed you can no longer exchange the product. The item must be in excellent or unused condition to be considered for return. If the product is received and does not meet this standard, it will be sent back to you and not eligible for return or credit. You are responsible for covering shipping costs for any returns. 

All orders are subject to store credit or exchange for a product only. If you exchange for product the cost of the returned item will be put towards the cost of the new item. If there is a balance left over, you will be issued store credit for the remaining balance. If you do not wish to exchange you will be issued store credit for the price of the item, you purchased. This balance will not include the shipping cost. 

Damaged Items

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email me at mendellleather@yahoo.com as soon as possible with photos. I will work as hard as I can to get this resolved to the best of my ability.
